19-20 Kislev!

Yud Tes Kislev @ Mesivta of Coral Springs

A wonderful Seudah and nonstop Farbrenging was what you’d find at the Mesivta of Coral Springs this 19-20 Kislev.

The evening began with a sumptuous catered Seudah, and included an all star cast of speakers.

The Menahel Rabbi Yosef Eizicovics began with a beautiful story explaining the importance of cherishing every moment of Yud Tes Kislev and how it is the “Chag Hachagim”.

Rosh Mesivta Rabbi Chaim Dovid Janowski reviewed the Farbrengen of 5726. "Yud Tes Kislev is unique in the fact that it is etched in us (osiyos chakikah)". This enables an impulsive reaction and “Gefeel” leading to Hachlotos Tovos. Skipping the sometimes necessary Hisbonenus.

“You can sit next to 10 barrels of “Mashke” on a cold night, but you won’t warm up. Drink one drop however, and you’ll start to feel the effects.” “Chassidus has to enter us in a Pnimiyus, only then will we truly feel it”. This Moshol was but one of the many that were shared by the night’s M.C Rabbi A.Z.H Shusterman.

Hasliach Zevi Posner reviewed the story of Yud Tes Kislev, reminding us of some of the phenomenal stories which occurred.

Hatomim Avremie Kievman spoke beautifully on the significance of 19 Kislev being the “ Rosh Hashono L’chasidus”.

Why DO we eat “Shvartze Kashe”? Hatomim Yossi Wagshul enlightened.

Rabbi Yisroel Spalter of Weston, Florida began the Farbrengen.

Rabbi Spalter impressed upon the boys to take the message of Yud Tes Kislev B'pnimiyus!
He explained the difference between a "Ben" and an "Eved" highlighting the advantages of a "Ben”.
Rabbis Spalter, Shusterman, and Rabbi Moshe Cheruff stayed up to the early hours of the morning encouraging the Bochurim to strengthen their Hiskashrus to the Rebbe.

Yasher Koach Rabbi Spalter.

The following night on 20 Kislev, the Mesivta had the opportunity to Farbreng with Rabbi Chayim Friedman of Pittsburgh.
With his humor, wit, and incredible stories, the Bochurim were spellbound. Reminding the Bochurim that "easy" is not always "good", and Hashem only demands what He knows we can handle. "Be honest with yourselves, your parents, the Rebbe, the Eibeshter." Live a real life and allow Ruchniyus to penetrate".
The Farbrengen went until 3 a.m and was in full attendance.

Special thanks to Hatomim Shmuli Simon and his team ( D.I, Y.R) for setting up the Seuda and Farbrengens.

Yasher Koach Rabbi Friedman and a Good Yom Tov to all!
